High Prosecution Rate of Sex Offender Registry Violators, Traveler Cases—Sexual Predators and Child Pornographers

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC)
As a member of the ICAC task force, Greg has successfully prosecuted over 200 sex offender registry violators, sexual predator—“traveler case” violators and “child pornographers” who victimize children. He has obtained some of the longest prison sentences of child pornographers in Wisconsin.

Greg’s Office Has Prosecuted Over 3,500 Drunk Drivers 
Greg has successfully prosecuted over 500 drunk drivers, with over 300 of them being repeat felony drunk drivers. These convictions include 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th offense drunk drivers. 

Greg’s Office Has Prosecuted Over 3,000 Drug Related Crimes
Greg has successfully prosecuted over 140 criminals engaged in dealing dangerous drugs in our community. Greg is the first prosecutor in the history of Shawano County to successfully prosecute drug dealers for conspiracy to deliver controlled substances in our community. He has brought charges for conspiracy against eight other people alleged to have been dealing dangerous drugs, such as methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin. 

Victims of Domestic Abuse
Greg worked with Safe-Haven Domestic Abuse Shelter establishing a program to protect victims of domestic violence so that they know what resources are available to them within our court system. Victims of domestic abuse now have the opportunity to meet with a domestic violence representative to learn all of the resources available to them after being victimized by a perpetrator. 

Homicide Cases
Greg has prosecuted and obtained convictions in many homicide cases in the last seventeen and half years, including First Degree Intentional Homicide, Homicide by Intoxicated Use of Motor Vehicle, Homicide by Vehicle Use of Controlled Substance, First Degree Reckless Homicide, Drug Related Homicide. 

Children’s Court Cases
Greg strives to keep children who have been abused or neglected by their parent(s) safe. He works in partnership with Shawano County Health and Human services to prosecute Children’s Court cases. Greg’s office has prosecuted over 1,400 Children's Court cases in the last 17.5 years. Children’s Court cases include Child in Need of Protection and Services, Juvenile in Need of Protection and Services, and Delinquency cases.
