ACCOMPLISHMENTS
High prosecution rate for sex offenders, child pornographers, drug dealers, and repeat felony drunk drivers.
In the last eleven years, 62 sexual predators came to Shawano expecting to sexually assault our teenage boys and girls. All were arrested when they arrived thanks to the efforts of our Shawano County Sheriff’s Department. All were prosecuted and convicted by District Attorney Greg Parker.
Victims of Domestic Violence Protection
Worked with the Safe Haven domestic violence shelter to establish programming for protecting victims of domestic violence. This offers resources within the criminal justice system to victims when offender is released from jail.
Upgraded Technology To Process Complaints
Implemented computer technology for the District Attorney’s office to interact with police agencies (receive referrals electronically) and the court system to file criminal complaints more efficiently. Implemented the latest e-discovery program to transmit police reports, digital files and digital video files to all defense attorneys that currently have cases in this prosecutorial district.
